How to choose an escape room

Group size first. Most rooms are built for 2–6 people; larger groups often need to be split across multiple rooms, which makes the experience less shared.

Check the difficulty level, don't guess. Escape rooms vary enormously in difficulty — a group that's never done one before is better off with an entry-level room than one advertising a low escape rate.
